Advisory & Decision Support

Advisory & Decision Support is for moments when a decision matters — financially, operationally, or personally — and you want clarity before you move forward.

Legacy Wise Advisors provides independent, paid advisory support to help clients think through options, understand tradeoffs, and decide on next steps without being sold to or pushed toward a transaction.

When Advisory & Decision Support Makes Sense

• You’re facing a high-impact decision and want clarity before committing time, money, or resources

• You’re receiving conflicting advice and want an independent perspective

• You’re unsure which option makes the most sense and want the tradeoffs clearly laid out

• You’re preparing to sign, purchase, or engage vendors and want a second set of eyes

• You want help organizing information before meeting with professionals

• You don’t want to be sold to — you want neutral guidance first

Common Advisory Situations

Clients typically engage Advisory & Decision Support for situations such as:

• Reviewing options before committing to a major purchase, contract, or engagement
• Making sense of conflicting recommendations from different professionals
• Organizing information before meeting with an attorney, accountant, insurer, or vendor
• Evaluating tradeoffs when there is no obvious “right” answer
• Clarifying next steps when a decision feels high-impact or irreversible

These examples are illustrative only. Advisory & Decision Support is consultative in nature and does not include execution, sales, or licensed professional services.

How Advisory Works in Practice

Advisory engagements are structured and focused on helping clients make better decisions before taking action.

We typically begin by:

1) Clarifying objectives, constraints, and priorities

2) Reviewing what’s already in place (documents, proposals, recommendations, or plans)

3) Identifying gaps, risks, assumptions, and tradeoffs

4) Comparing viable paths forward in plain terms

5) Defining clear next steps aligned with the client’s goals

What Clients Walk Away With

While every engagement is different, advisory support typically results in:

    • A clear problem statement and defined objective

    • Options organized side-by-side with practical tradeoffs

    • Key questions to ask vendors or professionals

    • A short, actionable next-steps plan

    Advisory vs. Execution

Advisory & decision support is focused on clarity and decision quality.

If a client chooses to proceed, implementation or execution support is handled under a separate agreement. Implementation may involve providers selected by the client, providers identified through independent vetting, or affiliated entities where appropriate. Final selection always remains with the client.

If you’re facing a complex decision and want clarity before acting, we can help you think it through.

Advisory engagements are paid, independent, and focused on decision quality—not selling products or pushing outcomes.
